Programa de Alianzas para Países del Perú (PCP Peru)

En diciembre de 2015, el Gobierno del Perú y la ONUDI comenzaron a desarrollar un programa integral para acelerar la industrialización inclusiva y sostenible. El Programa de Alianzas para Países del Perú (PCP Perú) busca facilitar la movilización de socios, conocimientos y recursos para avanzar hacia una industria moderna, competitiva e inclusiva, en línea con la estrategia de desarrollo nacional, Plan Bicentenario: El Perú hacia el 2021 (Plan 2021).

El PCP se basa en una alianza múltiple entre socios, agencias de la ONU, instituciones financieras y el sector empresarial, bajo el liderazgo del Gobierno de Perú.

La ONUDI brinda servicios de asesoramiento político al Gobierno sobre temas relacionados con la industria, dirige el diseño de programas, brinda asistencia técnica multidisciplinaria y facilita la coordinación general del PCP, apoyando a la convocatoria de socios. Los diversos proyectos y programas técnicos son ejecutados por la ONUDI y otros aliados, y se coordinan a través de los órganos rectores nacionales.

PCP Perú se enfoca en cuatro áreas principales: (i) calidad e innovación; (ii) cadenas de valor y desarrollo empresarial; (iii) parques y zonas industriales sostenibles; y (iv) recursos industriales, eficiencia energética y energía renovable.

El PCP también brinda apoyo al Gobierno en varios temas transversales, incluidos la formulación políticas, sostenibilidad ambiental, fomento y creación de pequeñas y medianas empresas y temas de género.

Programme for Country Partnership for Peru

In December 2015, the Government of Peru and UNIDO began developing a holistic programme to accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrialization in Peru. The Programme for Country Partnership for Peru (PCP Peru) seeks to facilitate the mobilization of partners, expertise and resources to help advance modern, competitive and inclusive industry in Peru in line with the national development strategy, Plan Bicentenario: El Perú hacia el 2021 (Plan 2021). 

The PCP rests on a multi-stakeholder partnership between development partners, UN agencies, financial institutions, and the business sector, under the overall leadership of the Government of Peru.

The PCP’s implementation phase started in January 2018 with several technical projects launched within the programme’s priority areas.  PCP Peru focuses on four main areas: (i) quality and innovation; (ii) value chain and enterprise development; (iii) sustainable industrial parks and zones; and (iv) industrial resource and energy efficiency and renewable energy. The programme also supports cross-cutting areas such as policy development and gender mainstreaming.

Through the PCP, UNIDO provides advisory services to the government on industry-related issues, delivers multidisciplinary technical assistance, and facilitates overall coordination and the convening of partners. The various technical projects and programmes are implemented by UNIDO and other development partners, and coordinated through national governing bodies.
