Primer Informe Nacional Voluntario - Uruguay 2017

El seguimiento de la Agenda 2030 de Desarrollo Sostenible implica la realización de informes voluntarios por parte de los países. En este marco, junto con otros 43 países, Uruguay se comprometió a presentar en el examen 2017 su primer reporte voluntario sobre la implementación de la Agenda 2030. El objetivo de este documento es identificar el estado de situación en los distintos temas, los avances en políticas públicas y marcos institucionales, la experiencia en la implementación y las oportunidades de alianza y coordinación entre organismos y actores en el país y con la cooperación internacional. A partir de esta revisión, se espera identificar rutas para que el Estado pueda orientar la movilización de los medios de implementación necesarios para la consecución de las metas globales y nacionales. Como se definió a nivel global, en este informe se hará especial hincapié en los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (ods): 1. “Fin de la pobreza”; 2. “Hambre cero”; 3. “Salud y bienestar”; 5. “Igualdad de género”; 9. “Industria; innovación e infraestructura”; y 14. “Vida submarina”. Además, Uruguay reportará el objetivo 16 “Paz, Justicia e Instituciones Sólidas” ya que, como se desarrollará más adelante, el país ha llevado adelante una experiencia piloto para su implementación.

First National Voluntary Report - Uruguay 2017

The follow-up of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development involves the completion of voluntary reports by countries. In this framework, along with 43 other countries, Uruguay committed to submit its first voluntary report on the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in the 2017 review. The objective of this document is to identify the state of play on the different issues, progress in public policies and institutional frameworks, experience in implementation and opportunities for partnership and coordination between agencies and actors in the country and with international cooperation. Based on this review, it is expected that routes will be identified so that the State can guide the mobilization of the means of implementation necessary to achieve global and national goals. As defined at the global level, this report will place special emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): 1. "End Poverty"; 2. "Zero Hunger"; 3. “Health and Welfare"; 5. "Gender Equality"; 9. "Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure"; 14. "Underwater Life". In addition, Uruguay will report on Goal 16. "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions" since, as will be developed below, the country has carried out a pilot experience for its implementation.
