Segundo Informe Nacional Voluntario - Uruguay 2018

El país reporta, a través del presente informe, su situación actual y sus principales desafíos vinculados a los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenibles (ODS) comprometidos ante las Naciones Unidas para el presente año: ODS 6. “Agua y saneamiento”; 7. “Energía asequible y no contaminante”; 11. “Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles”; 12. “Producción y consumo responsables”, y 15. “Vida de ecosistemas terrestres”, objetivos entre los que se constata alta interdependencia, tanto en las políticas públicas nacionales vinculadas a cada uno como en los organismos responsables de llevarlas adelante, ya que todos contienen un fuerte componente ambiental, y es en esta perspectiva en la que el país ha comenzado a trabajar fuertemente en los ultimos años.

Second National Voluntary Report - Uruguay 2018

The country details, through this report, its current situation and its main challenges related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) committed to the United Nations for this year: SDG 6. "Water and sanitation"; 7. "Affordable and clean energy"; 11. "Sustainable cities and communities"; 12. "Responsible production and consumption", and 15. "Life of terrestrial ecosystems", all of which contain a strong interdependence, both in national public policies related to each of them and in the agencies responsible for carrying them out, since they all contain a strong environmental component, and it is in this perspective that the country has begun to work hard in recent years.
