Cuarto Informe Nacional Voluntario - Uruguay 2021

Uruguay presenta su cuarto Informe Nacional Voluntario (vnr, por su sigla en inglés), manteniendo el compromise asumido con la Agenda 2030 como parte de los países miembros de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU).

El país reporta, a través del presente informe, su situación actual y sus principales desafíos vinculados a los ods que las Naciones Unidas acordaron para el presente año: ods 1. “Fin de la pobreza”; 2. “Hambre Cero”; 3. “Salud y bienestar”; 8. “Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico”; 10. “Reducción de las desigualdades”; 12. “Producción y consumo sostenibles”; 13. “Acción por el clima”; 16. “Paz, justicia e instituciones sólidas” y 17. “Alianzas para lograr los objetivos”.

La denominada “Década de acción” encuentra al mundo en un contexto de emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19; Uruguay no es ajeno a esta situación y, por tanto, es una dimensión que atraviesa ineludiblemente este reporte, considerando los efectos que tiene y tendrá en el desarrollo de las políticas públicas.

Fourth Voluntary National Report - Uruguay 2021

Uruguay presents its fourth Voluntary National Report (VNR), maintaining its commitment to the 2030 Agenda as part of the member countries of the United Nations (UN).

The country describes, through this report, its current situation and its main challenges linked to the SDGs that the United Nations agreed for this year: SDGs 1. "End poverty"; 2. "Zero Hunger"; 3. "Health and well-being"; 8. "Decent work and economic growth"; 10. "Reducing inequalities"; 12. "Sustainable production and consumption"; 13. "Climate action"; 16. "Peace, justice and strong institutions" and 17. "Partnerships to achieve the objectives".

The so-called "Decade of Action" finds the world in a context of health emergency due to COVID-19; Uruguay is no stranger to this situation and, therefore, it is a dimension that inevitably crosses this report, considering the effects it has and will have on the development of public policies.
